Toshiba Space Chair
Toshiba sent a biodegradable Space Chair up 98,268 feet using balloons and 4 GPS systems. It was filmed using Toshiba IK-HR1S cameras. I love the very end of the clip - freaked me out

How biodegradeable are the cameras?
Verrrryy cool! Did a bit of digging on this - Grey London is the agency behind it, and it was shot by shot by Haris Zambarloukos.
Apparently this was done to demonstrate that Toshiba technology can take something ordinary and make it extraordinary.
I’ve posted loads of facts on the shoot on So Sticky (http://bit.ly/2LrQH7), have a look if you’re so inclined!

That’s amazing! Very Boards of Canada.
Can things biodegrade in space? Doesn’t that require an atmosphere and living creatures (bacteria) to eat it?
Maybe it’s so that when it comes crashing back down to earth nobody has to clean it up… but you would think it would just burn up in the atmosphere.
Definitely an interesting video. It’s amazing how clear the video is. I’m wondering the same thing, what happened to the cameras? The ending caught me by surprise too, I didn’t think they’d show that part. Overall, this video is pretty cool and effective.
The making of is definitely worth checking out too: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_WFEyUU9l60
Unfortunately though, yet another rip from youtube
