Projection mapping as a form of branded art
Projection mapping shows are becoming more and more popular. And in a way I also feel like they are becoming a form of art that has the capability to add a touch of coolness also to the brands and the products who aren’t cool at all. This execution by Ariel is a good example.
I’m not necessarily wishing a proliferation of artistic projections mapping, I’m rather asking brands to be more supportive to art projects. And yes, sometimes sponsoring is more than enough. As embedding the product in the experience might not always be a smooth and beautiful thing.
The agency is Muse Amsterdam.
