The Great Paper Airplane Project
How do you get kids excited about aviation and space flight? By starting with the first plane they normally play with: a paper plane. Just make it a bit bigger. In fact 45-foot big. And fly it high high over the Arizona desert. That’s exactly what the Pima Air & Space Museum is doing today on March 21. Witness paper plane history in the making.
Check out the nice doco films that led up to this event. That Count von Galen is a cool dude. And I am not just saying that because he sounds like a fellow German.
And you can follow the event here via their live-blog. The icing on the cake would be some live tracking / data smorgasbord. But I guess kids don’t care about that.
