Video of the Day: Church Street Boxing

Eric Kelly of Church Street Boxing has a unique approach to training his clients–or as he calls them, “miscreants” or “Wall Street nerds”. To help them perfect their boxing technique, Eric subjects them to a funny barrage of verbal abuse, insults, and public degradation.

Throughout the video Eric drops some classic lines. As one of his Twitter followers puts it, “he’s like Cus D’Amato, but a better shit-talker.” So if you want to be trained by him, be prepared to be asked where you got your ol’ ass Top Gun haircut from. Or Eric might beg you to forget the address to the gym. Why? Because it makes you cats tougher. That’s why.
