The future of tactile navigation?
Following on from the post about turning objects into buttons I wanted to share a prototype that the guys here at my agency have built with Ayotle exploring how real interactions can trigger digital experiences.
They wanted to control an existing digital experience (in this case an online car configurator) through a ‘physical interface’ built with everyday objects.
Some cool software and 3D sensors detected each object and gesture.
Which meant that physical movements could control the digital experience - for example you could rotate the camera angle of the online car configurator by physically turning an object (in this case a little yellow rabbit).
