Do nothing. And get a free beer

I guess we are all getting tired of interactive vending machines, especially in the summer time, when it’s hot and we get lazier than ever. Smile here, do that, and get something in return… how demanding! So for once we welcome a beer that doesn’t ask for anything or, even better, it asks you to do nothing and get beer in return. An Amstel vending machine installed on the streets of Sofia invited consumers to stand still for three minutes, relax and take a break in order to enjoy a free beer.

In today’s crazy paced world probably this represents a tougher challenge than running around for three minutes… However, results seem to prove people is ready to do whatever it takes to get a free pint. The installation was active for 16 days from 4 pm to 9 pm and during this time an average of 84 per day interacted with it, collecting over 1300 cold cans of lager.
