Orange sends personalised videos
Bilyk recently helped create a personalised video campaign for Poland’s Orange Telecom. Around 2,000 people whose contracts were nearly up received a video which discussed their current plan, usage patterns and bills, and then offered them an upgrade based on their personal circumstances. ‘Old Spice’ Responses paved the way for thinking about online videos in a new and very personalised way. While Orange’s videos didn’t contain much entertainment (which wasn’t their point anyway) and the voice is still clearly a tad robotic, I can see many more personalised videos, with entertaining story lines and personal twists coming in the future. And produced on scale,  at speed and using the depth of customer data.
