United Airlines: new advertising campaign

United Airlines is launching a major advertising campaign not only to promote a new frequent-flier ("Fly Three, Fly Freeplan) but to make a statement of confidence about the future. It's curious to see that United Airlines will run ads on radio, billboards, airport posters and additional print and online advertising will follow for several weeks, but no television commercials are planned.

I think your new TV ads are the best! Whenever I hear just a few piano notes from your very familiar "United Airlines Theme," I stop what I'm doing to watch your ad! All three ads are most clever!

The new United Commercial featuring the travelling businessman with the red rose is absolutely fantastic.

I'm a Gershwin fan. He was so very exceptional that it is dangerously difficult to successfully improvise in his chords. With piano on their soundtracks, the United Air's ads get my attention and I want to hear much more like improv. Who is the arranger &/or the piano-player?

United Airline'new piano/Gershwin advertising campaign is the best and most appealing ad campaign I've ever noticed. The first one, in particular, stops me in my tracks and I'm compelled to look at the TV and watch the whole ad!

I have loved your new ads
as well as older ones using
the Gershwin piano sound.
To me it is synonymous with
United Airlines. Is there
a particular sound track
available on the market with this theme?
Love that sound.

The UAL Gershwin tv ads are the nicest, most unique, quality work I've ever seen. Kudos to those responsible; I'd like to more about the making of these ads.

Wonderful ads. Of course, Mr. Gershwin gets a lions share of the credit. I'm going to dust off or repurchase Rhapsody and some other good Gershwin. Time to get reacquainted with what good music is.

I love the new ads too! The two different shoes, the one with the rose and especially the one that shows the man's life from early business to retirement--that one is my favorite!!
Somebody please tell them to keep it up!

I love your commercials, when I hear the familiar Gershwin melody I return to the room to watch it. However I only see them on a BBC channel. What's up with that?

I meant to add to my previous comment, that when I fly to Italy in the summer I will be checking out United Airlines for rates, because of your commercial. I'm not easily convinced to buy products through advertising, yet your TV spots have captured me from the first one I heard.

Well, I like the animation, especially the brown/black shoe one. BUT, I have to say, after hearing George Gershwin several times EVERY SINGLE morning on MSNBC I have about had my fill. They gotta get a new soundtrack...they are wearing out their welcome.
