BMW drives in 3D
The Perfect Race is not the only online driving challenge BMW is currently running. There is also the BMW eDrive Challenge 2007 recently launched in The Netherlands to show in practice which are the characteristics of the EfficientDynamics new features.
Developed by Little Chicken Game Company, the game is all in 3D and requires the installation of a dedicated plug-in. Unfortunately, on my Mac it keeps crashing the browser, so cannot really tell you whether it’s good or not… If someone can get through, would be nice to have an opinion
It has the same effect on my PC… Too bad, it looked really promissing
Will have to give it a go!

Hmmm.. Nice idea, but I think consumers are now massively unforgiving with the whole “Download a plugin” to play mechanic.
I think the thing that Nokia did (www.the-passenger.com) whilst quite a chunky download is an example of how click you can get with technologies that people DO have
Shame but thumbs down from me
Well… I’ve tried the game and it’s looks great but plays like piece of *beep*. Maybe I’m just clue/skill less but getting the car around the first corner is far too difficult. Let alone cornering the second
I agree with Dizzy, it needs to be less complicated and not require downloads, plus it should certainly work on a Mac too.
Oh well.
Well, check this german page.
Maybe you´ll find it less complicate…

This game is a load of fun. I did crash several times on the first few corners. I have to play a game like this now and again because I will never make enough money to buy a real bmw.
To bad i can’t keep my car on track. but hey, they say i’m a lousy driver after all . The building part though is cool. Bulding your own 3D racetrack and inviting your friends to race you on it. Nice viral gadget.
