2005 has begun in an “exciting” way in the French advertising market. ToutSurLaCom reports about the launch of two print campaigns to promote Chambre 69 and Yoba, sites dedicated to “women pleasure”. The ads for Chambre 69 have been created by Foote Cone & Belding, featuring the idea that is cheaper to get a sex toy than a man. On the other side, Yoba presented an embarrassed Santa Claus being asked for unusual toys in an advertisement by Australie. Both sites sell sex toys for women through the Web and have decided to debut with an ironic approach to the market. The campaigns’ creatives are excellent, what is sad is probably the kind of products they are promoting, especially if we consider the country where they are sold. What about the French lovers’ myth?
