Fantasy Interactive have partnered with Microsoft to promote Internet Explorer 10 and touch browsing. Explore Touch, a site that lets consumers use touch gestures to mix audio files and create original sound tracks with the swipe of their fingers. The experience centers on an original sound track from singer, song-writer, and producer Blake Lewis.
What a nice way of talking how easy to use is your new OS: Microsoft Windows 8 in Portugal.
One of the coolest things about Windows 8 are the Live Tiles. Microsoft thinks so too so they created a prank that involved a light up floor tile (think Michael Jackson’s Billie Jean) and a collapsing wall. Probably set-up but fun anyway by McCann Oslo and via Gizmodo
Many of these types of applications have been developed - most notably Intel’s ‘Museum of Me’. So if you want an app to gather all your Facebook comments and images and post them into a movie of your past 12 months then this is your site Read more…
I’m not sure this is entirely possible given the hate some people throw at the IE browser. In any case Microsoft have produced this graphical campaign to entice you back to ‘cool’. I dunno…!!! What do you think? Read more…
Kinda cool - I love the fridge idea of touching it and seeing what’s in it and how many likes etc for a particular meal/ingredient. I’m hungry right now - haha! Did you have a favorite scene? Read more…
Boeing have launched a web experience of their best seller, the 747. More than 20,000 photos were stitched together to form a high resolution, 17-gigapixel multidimensional photograph version of the plane. I’m surprised Microsoft has worked on a new version of Office for Mac, and I’m even more surprised by the nice site they’ve launched to promote the new software. “Simplify your work” explains the product characteristics with lovely animations and a touch of sweetness I wouldn’t have expected from Microsoft.
The agencies behind the site are McCann SF & Firstborn.

Microsoft has just launched an advergame to promote its Live Search Maps. Created by EVB, Microsoft Live Derby 2007 it’s a sort of revisited “driving” version of PacMan. You can select to run in five different cities and decide among four crazy drivers (I picked the Golden Oldies…) who will take you around the map collecting “pills”, avoiding other cars and reaching a series of key destinations. The game is fun to play, and it’s less easy as it might appear at first sight. I tried three times and I didn’t manage to pass the first level… but maybe this is because I’m not a very good virtual driver I’ll try again!
