Selling beauty products to men can sometimes be a super hard job, but I feel this video made in Brazil is playing with the perfect insight to pull the trigger. Brilliant work Ogilvy & Mather Brasil which managed to create a TVC for Dove Men + Care and, at the same time, an hilarious a spoof of most female shampoo commercials. Read more…

The Man without a Facebook

This upcoming movie explores in unflinching detail what it means to be out of the loop, to not exist on Facebook, to have to say everything face to face. To write with pen and paper and simply be ‘untaggable’.

As the blurb says “Once in a while a friend request will come along that will change your life forever.” And in case the trailer seems oddly familiar in its storyline, have a look at Mel Gibson directing and starring in a similar flick a while back.

Cow parade ad spoofs Brokeback Moutain

Fabio from McCann Erickson Lisbon sent me this Brokeback Mountain spoof ad they created to promote the Cow Parade in Lisbon 2006. CowParade is a world-wide art tour with actual-size fiber glass cows painted by artists, designers, advertising creatives, students and the public. Opens in May 15th in the streets of Lisbon and McCann is the official agency of the event.

Pepsi’s sense of humor

In Australia, over 160,000 people visited a web site called heapspoor.com which is spoofing the new Pepsi Max Heaps Rich campaign. As Adrants points out, Pepsi Australia is actually behind the spoof. In the end, it’s not important how people talk about you, what matters is just that they are talking about you. Anyway, I really appreciate there is still someone out there with some sense of humor!
