Belgian beer company, Stella Artois, has created an interactive Facebook app that allows you to send a group of carolers to your home or your friend’s. Among the carolers is the famous English actress Alice Eve. Of course, there’s one catch — everything happens in a virtual setting.
The app allows you to enter a name, home address, and personal message. Shortly after, a video will begin streaming, featuring the carolers making their way to the specific home. The video integrates Google Street View, so you can see near-by scenery going past the car windows.
Beer commercials are usually fun to watch. And this Stella Artois TVC by Mother London is no exception.
Lowe Worldwide and Lowe Tesch have created a video-advergame to challenge beer lovers pulling the perfect pint. The experience is quite engaging, also because it’s very much in Stella Artois’ mood. The action takes place in Le Cercle Bar et Brasserie, a classic bar set somewhere in the French speaking world. Players first of all need to select the right glass (and this is pretty straightforward), then they are asked to perform more difficult actions, such as deciding the perfect glass’ inclination etc… As you can see, my performance is not worth remembering… news via Brandrepublic.
Stella Artois is promoting its After Dark 05 events through partnership agreements with The Guardian and Channel 4. As Revolution Magazine reports, Channel 4 is supporting the Making Movies competition with a microsite that invites users to submit their own scripts to join a competition an win £ 2000. The Guardian’s microsite features instead information about the events and articles by the journal’s film critics.
