The silent winner of the Super Bowl commercials crazy challenge is a Farmer. Nothing flashy, no multi-million special effect, just the purity and the intensity of beautiful color saturated photos. Over eight million views and counting for a montage of farmers portraits and still images picturing the hard life on the fields. It’s a full emotional immersion in the life of the farmers, powerfully narrated by the voice of Paul Harvey’s and the speech that he gave in 1978 at the National Future Farmers of America Convention. We are a few days away from the Super Bowl and, as usual, the energy and the curiosity are building around the commercials that will be broadcasted during the final. Let us do our due diligence then, covering some videos that are trying to score the winning touchdown, for example, in the automotive industry. So here you’ll see the ads by Mercedes, Toyota, Audi, Volskwagen and Kia listed in order of (personal) preference. I would love to know how would you list the! Read more…
For once, a Durex commercial that doesn’t try to be sexy nor funny. Yet, it will make you smile, and possibly increase your appreciation of their product. What the heck am I talking about? Well, watch the video below, I don’t want to spoil this… Read more…
Jingle Bells, Jingle bells, let the Christmas marketing begin… Commercials start popping up on air and online generating in me tons of contrasting feelings and reactions. Some TVC will almost make you cry, some others will make you laugh, a few can make you sick.

The NBA is back. And so are the great, emotional commercials they create to promote the league around the world. If you are a basketball fan, I bet you’re gonna love this video!
Oh yes, I guess the “ability” to create a 30″ commercial might be gone forever. But honestly I still love the big old school (maybe even black white) advertising productions. Even if it takes them 2 minutes to tell a story. And possibly they “forget” to show the product until minute 1.26… I’m talking for example about the new Martini spot by Fred & Farid Paris. I certainly miss George Clooney as a testimonial, but I think you’ll agree this is a nice video.
Just launched - A funny ad for Carlton Mild in Australia. The beer is mid-strength so you can stay longer at the pub drinking with your mates… well I am sure we have all seen this, been apart of it or been at the wrong end of this situation. VERY AUSTRALIAN!
Eventually, a nice tv spot “made in Italy”. JWT Milano for Mazda. via I believe in Adv.
On TV there is still room for brand advertising. The Impossible Dream, a great ad created by Wieden + Kennedy for Honda, clearly shows there is still life after the 30″ spot.
