A very nice work by Publicis London and Psyop to launch the new flavour of Stolichnaya vodka: Stoli Blakberi.
At first sight, from a creative point of view, it might look not very original. To promote a russian vodka with a russian proganda style graphic is a bit of a dejavu’, however its important to point out the consistency of this spot with all the communications by Stoli. Check out for example the Stoli Hotel online or the Stoli official website (but be aware they are far from being perfect or at Absolut’s level).

From Fallon London, a new approach to promote a chocolate bar. They’ve launched a production house called “Glass and a half full production” that is ment to give voice to Cadbury Dairy Milk’s commitment to creating branded content. The first Tv spots it’s 90 seconds long and can be see online on the “production company” website’s. Actually there isn’t much more than the spot to watch, and this is the disappoiting side of the project. Yes, you can enter a contest and win tickets to Las Vegas, but this has no connection with the branded content mentioned before. So they’ve done something different for TV but they “forgot” to do something at least “expected” for the Web (I mean, a little bit of interactivity). What a pity.

In Europe Tommy Hilfiger has launched its first TV campaign ever to promote its Hilfiger Denim collection. The 45 seconds spot debuted on MTV last week and will be presented in cinema theatres across Europe during September and October. Toursurlacom reports the spot has been directed by Swedish director Robert Logevall.
Nice Tv spot for Peugeot mixing video and cartoons to promote the 1007. It’s directed by Antoine Bardou-Jacquet with an excellent soundtrack by The Simians. The agency behind it is Euro RSCG Wnek Gosper. The message is clear: life shouldn’t be this easy. But… why not?
The new Levi’s Tv spot will be premiered on the MSN European network sites. The ten-seconds commercial will be featured on Msn’s homepage from today until February 14th when it will air on Tv.
R/GA, the interactive agency that works for Purina (a pet food producer), has created a tv spot to promote its new Web site for pet owners. As explained on AdWeek, this is the first time that R/GA produces a tv spot since 1999. For Nestle Purina, it has created Web sites for Nestle Purina brands including Cat Chow, Purina One and Tidy Cats.
